愛麗絲夢遊仙境英文故事

"Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" is a classic tale by Lewis Carroll that has been beloved by readers for generations. Here is a simplified version of the story:

Once upon a time, there was a young girl named Alice who was sitting by a riverbank with her sister. She was feeling bored until she saw a white rabbit wearing a waistcoat and talking to itself. The rabbit took out a pocket watch and exclaimed that it was late, which puzzled Alice. Curious, she followed the rabbit down a rabbit hole.

As she fell, Alice noticed that the sides of the hole were lined with shelves filled with curious objects. She also saw a bottle labeled "Drink Me," which, when she drank from it, caused her to shrink. Then, she found a small cake with the words "Eat Me" on it, which made her grow so large that her head hit the ceiling.

After many trials with potions and cakes, Alice finally found herself in a beautiful garden. There, she met a Dodo, who organized a Caucus Race to get dry after a swim. The race had no clear winner, but Alice was awarded a thimble as a prize.

Alice then encountered a White Rabbit, a Duchess and her baby (who turned into a pig), a Cheshire Cat with the ability to disappear and reappear at will, and a March Hare and a Mad Hatter who were having an "unbirthday" tea party.

The Cheshire Cat led Alice to the Queen of Hearts' garden, where she joined in a game of croquet using flamingos as mallets and hedgehogs as balls. The Queen was known for her fondness for beheadings, and she accused Alice of being a thief.

During a trial to determine Alice's guilt, the Knave of Hearts was accused of stealing the Queen's tarts. The trial was chaotic, with strange characters giving confusing testimony. In the end, Alice grew to an enormous size, scaring everyone away.

As Alice tried to make sense of everything, she woke up and realized that it had all been a dream. She was still sitting by the riverbank with her sister, and she shared her adventure with her, though her sister found it hard to believe.

"Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" is a whimsical story that explores themes of growing up, the nature of reality, and the power of imagination. It has been adapted into numerous films, plays, and other media, and its characters and phrases have become part of popular culture.
